Permastickied until the election

We think nationally a lot, but let's talk local for a bit!

Rules for this thread are pretty simple. Top-level posts must be structured as such or they'll be deleted:

[STATE]

[COUNTY/CITY/etc (if applicable)]

[Position title. School board, police chief, dog catcher, tax hike, etc.]: -Who is the MAGA candidate(s), or Yes/No to the initiative. Please include an explanation (and link, if possible)

Example:

NORTH DAKOTA

FARGO COUNTY

Police Chief:

-Deputy Dangle. He puts rollerskating hookers away and doesn't afraid of anything

School tax increase

-Vote NO. They're failing our students, churning out rollerskating hookers. They'll use the money for rayciss training anyway.

If you're looking for advice for your state/county, ctrl-F and search for it. If nothing comes up, do some research and advise others!

No on 22. More regulations that favor the lobbyists. It was lobbied by Uber, Lyft, and Doordash. It's best to get a repeal of AB5.

You'll never get a repeal of AB5. This is the best way to do it as a workaround.

It's not a workaround. This is an acceptable loss for large corporations that accept restrictions on themselves, but most importantly, on their competitors.

Confirming no on 22. This all 100% on corporate lobbying by Uber and Lyft who are only in it for themselves. AB5 needs to be repealed, and I'm voting for this out of spite for the Uber and Lyft drivers who wanted this horrible law in the first place. You got your cake now eat it too. Oh wait, you can't write off car expenses anymore? Oh no that sucks......
