Permastickied until the election

We think nationally a lot, but let's talk local for a bit!

Rules for this thread are pretty simple. Top-level posts must be structured as such or they'll be deleted:

[STATE]

[COUNTY/CITY/etc (if applicable)]

[Position title. School board, police chief, dog catcher, tax hike, etc.]: -Who is the MAGA candidate(s), or Yes/No to the initiative. Please include an explanation (and link, if possible)

Example:

NORTH DAKOTA

FARGO COUNTY

Police Chief:

-Deputy Dangle. He puts rollerskating hookers away and doesn't afraid of anything

School tax increase

-Vote NO. They're failing our students, churning out rollerskating hookers. They'll use the money for rayciss training anyway.

If you're looking for advice for your state/county, ctrl-F and search for it. If nothing comes up, do some research and advise others!

I'd recommend No on all but #3.

1 - Completely unnecessary.

2 - Allow gay marriage with no protections for private businesses to refuse services.

3 - Increase number of times Pardons commission meets to 4 per year (up from 2) and strips the Governor of his unilateral veto on pardons. (There's a huge back-log in the appellate courts and this would help alleviate that.)

4 - Big power grab by the Legislature ... big HELL NO to give those clowns any more authority.

5 - Not on the ballot

6 - Mandate 50% of our energy to be "renewable" (by the lib definition) by 2030.

Religious institutions and clergy, yes. Private businesses, no. The baker that refuses to bake a cake can still be sued for discrimination.
