I used to agree with you, but now I think there's a point. It's like Cortez burning his ships, he's showing that he is 100% fully committed to his art. This guy has no backup plan to go back to school and become a lawyer or get some corporate job, he's all in, and he's saying that'll be just as true in his early 40s as he is right now.
