The best way to move forward is to make those people irrelevant.

It sucks that they’ll never see true justice, but sometimes you have to cut the big fish loose in order to fill your nets with lots of little fish. Trophy hunting feels good, but it’s not a fix. I’d rather see Trump clean out the deep state swamp by firing the hundreds of bad actors (which he is already setting the table to do in his second term) than get fixated on the few figureheads.
