I had really hoped that DODEA (Department of Defense Education Activity) would be able to escape the liberal agenda in their schools, but unfortunately that is not to be. My fifth grader is tasked with learning about the candidates for a mock election. The provided resources are one article from the Washington Compost and these two Schoolastic links:
Trump https://classroommagazines.scholastic.com/election/meet-the-candidates/donald-trump.html
Biden https://classroommagazines.scholastic.com/election/meet-the-candidates/joe-biden.html
Not sure who owns schoolastic, but they are not doing a good job of hiding their bias.
I will be using this as an opportunity to teach that you can’t trust everything that is put online, and how to look up opposing views and make up your own mind.
No one is immune to this, watch your kids.
Spez-wrong link
I think you linked both candidates to the Trump site. Just FYI!
Thanks! Fixed hopefully.
Shit is sick. Maybe after removing CRT, this type of stuff could be next.
