The leftists just don't realize that their electric car they use to run 5-10 miles to the store and back and recharge overnight is just a fraction if the uses of fossil fuel. They don't ever consider how the food gets to the stores, supplies to the hardware store, etc.

You need something that can run for long periods of time and be replenished quickly. Right now batteries aren't even close to replacing diesel, gas or LP/natural gas for transportation or emergency backup. Sorry, hospital is closed, lost power and it was cloudy so the sun couldn't recharge the batteries.
