I remember when it was announced that Trump was driving to make a speech, mediafaggots (from MSNBC, I wanna say) were talking about how this was "unprecedented, like everything else about Trump's campaign". They were painting it as if Trump was making a speech before the election was called, and of course they never acknowledged the egg on their face when Trump announced that he had received a concession call from Hillary.
