You probably should have seen this coming...

Liberal Jewish guy who spent a lifetime in Hollywood. Does that sound like a conservative?

Never in my life have I ever wondered about Mel Brooks' political leanings! Shit. Who's gonna let me down next? Dick Van Dyke? Andy Griffith? Phyllis Diller? Wilma Flintstone? I DON'T WANNA KNOW YOUR POLITICS. I WANT YOU TO MAKE ME LAUGH!!!!!!!🤣

Andy Griffith is/was a big time Dem and even did commercials for Obamacare. I think it had to do with his being from the Deep South when everyone was a Dem back then. I still watch Matlock reruns (nothing else on TV worth crap) but it is in the back of my mind when I see him.

Most of the stuff he's made is condemned by the people he shills for.

It was a extra cringey endorsement too. Watch at your own risk.

The same people who slap warning labels on his movies are the ones he's voting for. The very people he complains about are destroying comedy. I cant even...

People laugh remembering Rick Moranis in a Giant Darth Vader Helmut but then can't actually remember a single funny thing about the movie.

Pizza the Hutt.

The virgin alarm.

Combing the desert.

(yeah, I watched Spaceballs a lot as a kid)

Agreed. And let’s face it. The reason people like Blazing Saddles is because of the baked beans scene. That was really risque back then

I'll always remember the great Mel Brooks for how he was before dementia set it. His movies made me laugh and he's always fought against Nazism. Somehow someone told him that's Trump, and, being senile, he went with it. Just like Biden thinks he's running for senate yet again, so Mel thinks he's fighting fascism.

Don’t worry about it. Mel is old as shit and is from a bygone era of comedy. You can like his movies and not like is politics. He’s not swaying any of the vote in this election.

Also he looks like he shits the bed himself.
