Off topic, but mocking a liberal's smug, know-it-all attitude by knowing more than them about a topic, any topic, is a good way to get under their skin.
That's why they always change the subject though and can't stay on topic. Trying to avoid any depth. They can sound smart for about 2 minutes on any topic as long as the other person doesn't know much.
My boss smugly discusses politics all the time and thinks everyone agrees with him. There are 8 of us working under him, 5 are confirmed Trump supporters, one is a centrist and the other two don't vote.
He's literally alone but the hubris is so strong he thinks we're all with him.
Its hilarious.
And these are people with masters in the tech field including a Harvard grad.
