It's best if you change the guest SSID so that you don't knock existing devices off the network, like the TV. Given how much social media is trying to hide the allegations against Joe, this is a good way to make sure everyone nearby sees the truth whether they like it or not and they can't even ban you from anything for it :)

It is easy to track down routers by using a wifi analyzer. You can use them in places like a school to see what ceiling panel they are under. So any neighbor that knows this can easily track down the house.
I don't think most people have those and it's dense enough around here that you can't easily track things down. Yes, someone with enough skill could probably triangulate it but if you're that worried, make it a phone hotspot and with you moving around in public, they won't be able to see who it is unless you're pretty isolated.
