Can a flu cause a complete loss of smell and blunting of taste? Im told I have COVID but the drop in Flu cases this year leaves me suspicious.

That's right folks. I was diagnosed with COVID19 also known as Kung Flu. Ive had it since last week. Ive had flus worse than this. But I find the complete lack of smell disturbing. Anyone have a cold or flu that knocked out their sniffer?

My only concern is apparently covid19 damages your heart muscles. I just dont know who to trust though lol.
