Can a flu cause a complete loss of smell and blunting of taste? Im told I have COVID but the drop in Flu cases this year leaves me suspicious.

That's right folks. I was diagnosed with COVID19 also known as Kung Flu. Ive had it since last week. Ive had flus worse than this. But I find the complete lack of smell disturbing. Anyone have a cold or flu that knocked out their sniffer?

Ive always been around 100% of my oxygen. I actually am trying to figure out is covid is bunk at this point. Because covid didnt use to effect the sinuses. Now it does? Also now covid can cause heart disease in people because covid attacks cardiac cells. Like..what?
