If you read all the Secretary of State pages in almost every state, ballots must be in by 7 p.m. Nov 3, 2020... this is for all ballots, even mail in, and remember, the post office closes at 5 p.m.... no mercy... I keep checking in every state that this came up in... I believe it was a play to get conservatives off their asses and to the polls.....
Gotcha. Is it a good signal for a future precedent? Let's not forget the SCOTUS doesn't create laws and the constitution is pretty damn clear about Election Day.
Read the dissents. They basically state Covid or other issues prevent right to vote. Forgets that you can ask for an absentee ballot in advance or go and vote in person.
Let me put it another way. You have a right to bear arms in New York and California as long as you wait and follow the rules. Wait...
I live in a blue Dim state. I requested an AB. The drop off is right in front of my town's police station. There's no reason for votes to be delayed. If you're afraid of Covid, go drop it off at 3:00 AM Thank God we have ACB now soon to sit in the court to help cement our freedom.
We've got mail in voting, early voting is open already, what do they want an extension for?
If you can't figure out some way to vote by the 3rd youre probably too stupid to be voting anyways.
The left is gonna come up with some bullshit when Trump wins I already know it. aaahhh all the mail ballots haven't been counted yet uhhhhhh Trump's fault he destroyed the postal service they're gonna say
Awesome!

So that applies to every state right?
Federal should apply everywhere yes.
Came here to say that. Seems like this precedent should apply to the PA case coming up. You'd think.
No, this was just a procedural matter. They affirmed a hold issued by a lower court. This was not a precedent setting decision.

When talking about the Supreme Court, the identification of State Supreme Court SCOW or Federal SCOTUS needs to be made.
now we just need PA!
