He'll be writing a Strongly worded letter thanking you for that insult.

Pretty much sums him up.

It's really weird because if he was a swamp creature he'd rather kill himself than confirm her, but he's not the most loyal of patriot either, so what is he?

He's doing exactly what he said he would do. Confirm every judge Trump nominates to fill the courts with CONSTITUTIONAL ORIGINALISTS. Granted, Cocaine Mitch is a lot of things. But, he sees the danger in activist judges. He wants his legacy to be voting in all these judges. Mitch just thinks the courts are dangerous. And... he's right.

I don't disagree with your points about McConnell, but I think fasterth was asking about Lindsey Graham. What is Lindsey Graham? He's a difficult one to figure out.

20
goodwillwin2 20 points ago +21 / -1

I think he wants to MAGA but is 1. Used to the old swamp game and got comfortable. and 2. They probably got dirt on him enough to be a sort of controlled opposition on certain issues.

2
GeoG85 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yea but Lindsey's actions during the Trump presidenancy would have us forgive Lindsey, regarding the Swamp's situation of...forcing people to commit pedophilia, sometimes, stricktly to have black mail on everyone. I think Lindsey might've been one of the ladder.

I don't keep track of EVERY RINO but AFAIK, Graham had our back a lot. During Kavanaugh, Impeachement, and now ACB.

Fair weather Senator.

4
783hz 4 points ago +4 / -0

Anything not having to do with Ukraine, China, or screwing over Trump in 2016 is fair game for Lindsey.

3
Hardcouer 3 points ago +3 / -0

Not all swamp creatures are made equal.

19
T__X 19 points ago +19 / -0

Yup, 100% support during the general.

Next primary though, I hope he's out on his ass.

8
rebelde_sin_causa 8 points ago +8 / -0

if we lose his seat next week but hang onto the Senate, I won't cry

12
T__X 12 points ago +12 / -0

Agree. Although with turds like Romney, Collins, and Murkowski in the calculation, "hanging on to the Senate" has an uncomfortably vague definition...

9
rebelde_sin_causa 9 points ago +9 / -0

Murk is history in two years. GEOTUS will see to it

5
ChocolateEvryday 5 points ago +5 / -0

Good. Coulda slapped that bitch with her dumbass procedural crap with ACB.

3
lurkwellmyfriends 3 points ago +3 / -0

Nah. That pos running against Graham could do way more harm than Graham.

1
AT_Finn 1 point ago +1 / -0

We are razor thin with our majority...don't play these games. Republicans always want to try and play these games, and get fucked over in the end. Just wait to primary him.

Yes you could do a LOT worse than Lindsay 2.0.

Lindsay 1.0 though? meh, I feel like the good people of SC could be more based than that during a primary.

6
Farage_massage 6 points ago +6 / -0

He’s also the reason that subpoena’s didn’t go out to the Big Tech execs this side of the election according to Hawley...

Gosh darn I HATE Miss Lindsey, but a gal that comes through 40% of the time is better than a Commie that wants us all dead.

24
essenceofsalt 24 points ago +24 / -0

His opponent raised the most money in the history of the senate. It's like 189 million or something he said.

32
deleted 32 points ago +32 / -0
24
border_humper 24 points ago +24 / -0

More than half of money raised in this race came from outside SC...most expensive race in history.

14
LaPastillaEscarlata 14 points ago +14 / -0

On that alone it would be amazing if Graham wins. Of course all the tech companies will just funnel it back into the dems during some next race.

I'll be voting for him.

Lou Dobbs needs to go to Hell.

At this point, it doesn't matter if you think an R is a RHINO>

Hold your orifices and VOTE RED.

20
JerryNadlerBeltFund 20 points ago +20 / -0

Agree - Save the fight for the primary, but start identifying candidates right after the election.

11
TEXinLA 11 points ago +11 / -0

Absolutely. Need a better candidate. To be continued in 9 days...

12
Keln 12 points ago +12 / -0

I love Lou. What's your problem with him?

25
TEXinLA 25 points ago +25 / -0

He was ranting about not voting for L. Graham yesterday. Dobbs said NO ONE should vote for Graham.

The alternative is a Democrat who has lots of Soros/Deep State money behind him.

I fail to see why Dobbs thinks not voting for Graham on Nov. 3 is the better choice.

Talk about getting a better R candidate on Nov 4. But not before then.

13
Keln 13 points ago +13 / -0

Yeah Lou can get pretty fired up sometimes. You're right, the time for getting rid of bad Republicans is in the primaries, not when it's them vs some sleazeball Democrat.

I'm afraid Lou can be as passionate about all of this as a lot of us around here get sometimes. He even pops into the comment section over at the conservative treehouse once in a while, so not your typical TV guy. He wants perp walks and probably a few helicopters.

It can be easy to lose sight of the bigger picture when dealing with a guy like Graham, but we've got to stay focused when it comes to elections.

6
TEXinLA 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yup. I like Lou too but this just pissed me off.

The Dim challenger has a huge war chest and I'd like to see Lou walk it back a bit.

I

Dobbs was mad about the strongly worded letters that appear to only response to the repeated attempts to take down President Trump.

And he blames L. Graham. Which is fine. After Nov.3rd.

Then Dobbs can lambast Senator Graham 24/7. But to endanger the R control of the Senate is inexcusable.

9
Vizrahen 9 points ago +9 / -0

“I don’t know why anyone in the great state of South Carolina would ever vote for Lindsey Graham. It’s just outrageous,”

“Graham has betrayed President Trump at almost every turn,” Dobbs said. “He has betrayed the American people and his oath of office. He’s done absolutely nothing to investigate Obamagate except to tell everyone, ‘Stay tuned,’ time and time again. Stay tuned. Senator Graham needs to be tuned out in South Carolina.”

So hes definitely right, but people are upset at the timing.

lurkwellmyfriends 1 point ago +1 / -0

Too strong against Dobbs. He is 1000% MAGA. I prefer Graham to the trojan horse commie they're running against him, but no need to kill Dobbs if he doesn't agree.

1
TEXinLA 1 point ago +1 / -0

So it's okay if Graham's seat goes to a Democrat because of Dobbs' rants?

18
RalphieRabbit_pinkni 18 points ago +18 / -0

I think James Woods deserves the medal of freedom, the medal of brass balls and the medal of common sense.

11
RedHerring 11 points ago +12 / -1

We'll see.

9
vovchykbratyk 9 points ago +9 / -0

I'd like to see someone....anyone.....primary him - but until then, it would be a huge tactical blunder to replace him with a democrat.

8
Lol_Garrus 8 points ago +8 / -0

Im voting for Graham (SC Resident) but I wish he was based all the time, not just when confirming judges.

3
ChocolateEvryday 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thanks, fren

7
midareashi 7 points ago +7 / -0

I wish he would make this his last election. I'm ready for someone new to vote for to represent my great state. I'll keep voting for him for as long as he runs, but damnit, I just don't like the guy.

3
ChocolateEvryday 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thank you, fren. Keep it red.

6
60Romeo 6 points ago +7 / -1

If you've got spare cash, consider donating.

I know - he's not been 100% Trump team. But we need to hold the Senate.

I believe he's a good man. At the very least he's helped get kav and ACB on the bench, and those are lifetime appointments.

6
Redditcanblowme 6 points ago +6 / -0

Sometimes there's a man... I won't say a hero, 'cause, what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a man. And I'm talkin' about Lindsey Graham here. Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's Graham, in South Carolina. And even if he's a lazy man - and Lindsey Graham was most certainly that. Quite possibly the laziest in the Senate, which would place him high in the runnin' for laziest worldwide. But sometimes there's a man, sometimes, there's a man. Aw. I lost my train of thought here.

5
SJBHamilton 5 points ago +5 / -0

If Lindsay Graham and Trey Gowdy had not been such polite Southern gentleman standing on ceremony 2 1/2 years ago and dug deeper into the FBI's claims, we might not have wasted time and money with shitpeachment.

I will not give a dime to him.

2
Chopblock 2 points ago +2 / -0

On the other hand their ‘fairness’ has removed any room for Democrats to claim “muh double-standards” as their ties to Bidenish foreign corruption brings them down during Trump’s next term.

Hopefully that’s why Barr is going slow, too — maybe it’s too BIG for ‘October Surprise’, even a taste of Biden’s bit seems like it’s so bad to many that they go into denial and try to dismiss it as ‘political mudslinging’.

The opposition: Jaime Harrison of South Carolina Talks Ending Qualified Immunity for Bad Cops, Expanding Obamacare and More

I'd say Graham is damn site better that a hard core leftist

2

Also, Harrison considers Hillary and Nancy his "mentors".

5
zillat 5 points ago +5 / -0

He's our piece of shit, just gave him $50. Hope he remembers who butters his toast!

5
nowrongwrong 5 points ago +5 / -0

I will give Lindsey mild applause for helping push ACB through committee but If he doesn't do a full-on Cruz style makeover into a 100% Trump supporter after this election then he can fuck right off with the rest of the NeverTrump RINOs.

From what I hear Graham is not too well liked within his district. The situation isn’t ideal, but letting a Democrat take his spot is a risk I’m not willing to take. If the Democrats get the Senate and the House they will impeach Trump before spring break of next year.

Until a better option comes along, we need the senate to stay in the hands of the Republicans.

3

Not the time for a deserved beat down. We gotta keep the senate.

2
Tenpat 2 points ago +2 / -0

At this point it is Graham or some POS Dem. At least Lindsey is on our side most of the time.

1
Rossnology 1 point ago +1 / -0

Harrison is definately more popular than Biden if yard signs are any indication. But I think Graham will win easily, and hopefully suck less and less. The ghost of McCain gets weaker every year

Yeah, by all means get out and vote, but I'm not really convinced you have to 'worry' about these lifelong politicians. For whatever unexplainable reason, they always seem to win and stay around forever. Maybe it's solely name recognition, or maybe it's something else, but I'd be completely shocked if Graham didn't win.
