I've been preaching this point on this site for months now. Voting FOR someone and actually being enthusiastic about your candidate and your country is contagious. Most people are drawn more to love and positive reinforcement than they are to hate. This whole FUCK TRUMP as your whole campaign pitch, without actually offering anybody of substance in return, is a losing strategy. Hate doesn't win elections. I actually got up early two days ago or so to go to a corner store and saw the tail end of a Trump parade going down main street. It put a smile on my face and I saluted.
I dunno where this guys lives but for me it's Oregon not that far from Portland.
