More information? Did you watch the video? The cops retreated for a good 30 seconds and his girlfriend was trying to stop him and he kept charging with the knife. It was a good shoot.
I thought he had a knife but the video and comments suggested he was unarmed, so I wasn’t sure. Either way what has happened each time is eventually we get more context and see the police tried to subdue without violence for some time and the perp ends up having been some well-rounded member of society staring down his 20th arrest. I would guess that will happen in this instance as well
