Philosophically, the "parasite" argument makes sense. After all, it is a foreign entity, that consumes resources on your behalf, all without providing any direct benefit.
... However, if we look at it even pragmatically, this becomes absolutely monstrous. Parasite or not, it's your own flesh and blood. It's a necessary part of our life cycles to reproduce.
To even entertain that a fetus is actually a parasite shows a complete disconnect with reality.
Parasites are a totally different organism from the host. Babies are your children, not tape worms.

I don't think it makes sense even philosophically.
A parasite is uninvited. It comes against your will. Someone you let into your body is a guest, not a parasite.
