Don't feel like losing brain cells reading those comments right now, but I've seen plenty of comments like those on social media from people who are completely ignorant about guns, policing, or think that just because they've seen John Wick that they're an expert.
They need to see the video of the guy with the kitchen knife actively trying to stab a cop (her vest stopped it) while two other cops unloaded on him, and he still didn't drop for several seconds. Drugs are a hell of a drug.

"Why cant dey just shoot em in da leg 1 time?!" - ignoring the fact that you use your firearm for deadly force threats and that you can still kill someone by shooting their leg
"Do dey really gotta shoot em mo than once?!" - ignorant of the fact that guns (especially handguns) don't always bring people down in one hit, adrenaline + human body can be incredibly resilient
