1st - no worries about losing election due to invoking the insurrection act, so that option frees up
2nd - chance that he does fire some people in FBI and CIA, and replaces them with someone who understands that BLM and Antifa are currently biggest threat to US - FBI has a lot more resources they could be focusing on this bullshit, and both organizations are receiving international support which falls in CIA's purview.
3rd - if republicans actually get control of congress back, we might see cooperation from legislature branch to condemn BLM and Antifa, which would allow police to start proactively shutting down these organizers. All kinds of legislature is possible at that point.
