Nominate another judge to the Supreme Court, and continue nominating judges until the Congress passes a constitutional amendment to limit the size of the court.

It's a win/win.

He uses the strategy the democrats would undoubtably use if they were to gain power again - putting more and more conservative judges on the bench in process while proving how ridiculous the idea of court packing is as the democrats seethe - pointing to the democrats own talking points as rationale for nominating and adding judges until the democrats break down and agree with Republicans to set a limit.

I prefer seven. I don't see the need for nine, and why should the American tax payer pay for the salaries and benefits and everything else associated with extra justices when it really doesn't serve a purpose. Seven people looking at the Constitution is quite enough.

Ted Cruz is already working on getting two new Amendments. One for congressional term limits, and another for 9 Justice SCOTUS limit.

I wouldn't nominate per say, but I would definitely have tongue in cheek threats of doing it.

I don't think the democrats would ever vote to pass such an amendment when the court is no longer left leaning (supposedly) unless they're forced to do so. You'd need 2/3 of the house and senate to vote in favor of the amendment to even begin the process. Therefore, you'd need 290 house members and 67 senators. So, a bipartisan willingness to do it is definitely needed, unless several miracles happen on November 3rd. IMHO, threats wouldn't be enough.Action would be required.

As far as congressional term limits go. There is no way in the world Congress will limit their power willingly. That would have to be done through a constitutional convention, which requires Republicans to pretty much completely control 38 states and then be willing to actually do it.
