I want to know what kind of drugs they pumped him up with before the debates, because there's no way he can go from incoherent, bumbling old man to forming complete sentences in a few days without some MAJOR drugs. I mean I know he had a wire but even then he had to have had something keeping him looking straight ahead for an hour and a half.
I think adrenaline has something to answer for, but it was very telling by the end of the last debate he just came undone completely.

Anyone who has cared for someone with dementia knows this- nursing homes at night become much more difficult to manage.
I had an elderly neighbor from my building once “surprise” me by wandering silently into my condo (front door was unlocked, I was waiting for my daughter to come back from the grocery store). Followed by his wife 2 minutes later knocking and in a panic. Poor old guy. I’d seen him in the elevator plenty of times and he was fine enough, but at night he disappears into himself with dementia.
Dementia Joe won’t be doing any night time interviews or state dinners, that’s for sure. Time for some apple sauce and a knitted blanket in the basement.
