Don't give them the satisfaction of SWAT-ing their house (whatever that would involve). Any extended family, friends? Don't be shy, ask for an invite. Bring a fab dish. Find a church packing meals for needy families, find a soup kitchen. Have a fun, different, enjoyable , meaningful holiday.
At some point people need to admit that it’s not worth it to cater to asshole relatives. They clearly don’t care about the girl (or guy?) posting, so why jump through hoops for them?
