For those who don't know the context, T-Mobile's new CEO pulled all of their advertising from Tucker Carlson a few months ago because he was a big meanie to the righteous saints of BLM.
I procrastinated switching to another carrier, but after getting dropped five times in one hour during a work call, I had enough. I decided to try out Pure Talk after seeing them advertise on Tucker and Benji's show.
I ordered a SIM card for my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and once I received it, I began porting my number. I forgot the pass code for my T Mobile account (which you need for porting) so I contacted T Mobile customer support one last time. I admit T Mobile has good customer service, but it's a shame their CEO is a massive cuck.
After my port was complete (I started on a Friday evening and had it done the next afternoon), I inserted the Pure Talk SIM and was good to go. I have to say, I'm very satisfied with their coverage so far! Even when camping, I was able to get reliable data.
My only issue was that I had issues receiving mobile data initially and had to manually add settings to my phone while being guided by their customer support. With that being said, their customer service is good as well.
I was paying $65/mo for T-Mobiles unlimited service, but am now paying $45/mo for 20gb of data. (There's an unlimited data plan for $55/mo.)
