AZ's mail in voting has been around so long with signature verification (which is why we're among the last - if not THE last - the be finalized) that it's reasonably trustworthy (I'm still voting in person).

I've yet to see an election outside of 2000 which wasn't already finished before our final count was authenticated because of our security measures (note - if you drop off a ballot on election day without it being scanned, it'll be the last into the verification cue - get in line - get it scanned.).

Our 2018 midterm snafu was some weird one-time 'emergency polling locations' which suspiciously stayed open later than others. Enough lawsuits were filed that's not happening again.

I am sure the democrats already have a new cheating tactic in place. AZ really screwed us over in 18.

I'd agree except McCain died and we still had a GOP gov to replace him - so that was nice. I'm not a Sally fanboy, but good lord - she's better than McCain.

There's also something weird about the DNC gal who got in 2018. She did side with the GOP on some bills. She's not as crazy as I thought. I wouldn't bank on her - but I wouldn't put her in lockstep with the DNC 100 percent. I would guess she's attempting to be more centric so she doesn't get assblasted out of office or recalled.

Civil unrest is their tactic in case of defeat, they've said as much and what we saw this summer was a preview. Democrat leaders will get on tv and twitter and scream about fraud and voter suppression and goad their followers into the streets. They'll riot and burn and loot, maybe even target polling places in an attempt to destroy ballots to prevent recounts. They'll blame it on white supremacists and demand the election be invalidated and that there needs to be an interim government installed while the new election is planned, but of course Covid will interfere with that. The supreme court will ultimately take it up and declare Trump the winner and we'll have four more years of "not my president" and all that malarkey.
