I fail to see how 500 pieces of mail delivered in several US cities constitutes a "stress test."
Good to hear that the USPS is on it, though: Stepping up efforts
"to be executed by local management** between Oct. 26 and Nov. 24** to accelerate the delivery of ballots "
Just in time for a November 3rd election?
Show up in person. Fill out your ballot and watch it get scanned immediately with no middle man who can break the process.
Think how many chances for error there are with mailing that you have no ability to control - the carrier who picks it up, the handlers at sorting facilities, the machinery at sorting facilities, the carrier who delivers it, the poll workers who open and verify the ballots, to whomever has to scan it after verification.
