This has got to be the worst presidential candidate in the history of the United States.
We thought it couldn't get much worse than Hilldog. We were wrong.

Those who are unable to meaningfully distinguish between the two modes have hackable brains and are readily manipulated to think that patently insane things are normal and vice versa.

Hillary could at least speak coherently and could get more than five people to come to her events. Which is asking a lot for a presidential candidate, I know.
In 2016 I was worried about the candidate. Hillary was awful but she was at least sorta competent in her evil deeds. And she knew how to play the cards given to her to manipulate her base.
In 2020 I’m worried about the Democrats base. Their candidate is horrible and he makes remarks that should tank him every single week but they will still vote for him because Orange Man Bad.
And COVID has given him cover. He hides in his basement for weeks at a time and the media says nothing, attributing it to the pandemic. But when you’re POTUS you don’t get to just stop running the country for a week.

They had better candidates, the only problem is that they had to go up against Trump, one of the best presidents we've ever had. They decided they couldn't win straight up so they got the one that's fraudulent, compromised, corrupt, no qualms about cheating because that's the only way they could come close to winning. Sad.
I don't think that they were "better" because Democrats have ZERO good candidates. The only reason Biden was chosen is because he was already the DNC crony (like you suggested). The others were too "new" and "untested", so they were potential risks to the deep state DNC machine. But always remember that all Democrats are the SAME.
You can bet your ass that in 2024, they will probably send their newest crony, AOC, once they've had her trained and corrupted to do the will of the DNC. But by then, we will have one of Trump's own family that takes up the cause of the greatest president in American history.
The problem with her is that she is very unlikeable. Obama was terrible, but for some reason people just liked him. I don't think she will ever rise much above where she is now as far as elected office. But I can see her getting appointed to a Cabinet or Energy Czar type position. God help us.
