I was at the little-known event in Lumberton NC this past weekend, honoring/celebrating the official recognition of the Lumbee Tribe there, and it was glorious.
Side note for all those SJW's who insist on everyone calling them "indigenous people", every time GEOTUS referred to them as Native Americans, they all jumped, cheered, applauded and waived their signs. These motherfuckers put on their traditional garb, banged their drums, and did the old chanting-song thing - they love our President, no doubt!

Cherokee are pretty white. They had white tribal leaders for political reasona and many of them got out of the trail of tears by assimilating and claiming to be white. They still maintained the language and cultural stories, so if they identify themselves as a group and actually maintain a culture passed down generation to generation- then it's native enough for me. The difference with Warren is that she had zero cultural ties, then made them up so she could exploit the system.
This is awesome! I had no idea the tribe now has the right to negotiate for mineral extraction royalties on their own. If we had anything remotely resembling a fair media this would be huge news. And kudos to the Crow Nation for standing up to endorse Trump publicly as well!
So, Obama got rid of Minerals Management Service and split it up into three agencies including the Office of Natural Resources Revenue, which then became the manager of the Indian mineral rights concessions.
Looks like Trump shoved ONRR aside and let the people that own the minerals actually handle it themselves. I am sure that there is accounting firm somewhere that will be happy to assist.
