She's definitely no Donald Trump replacement. She doesn't really have the instincts of Trump politically. But I can't fault her at all for being not up to The Donald because literally no one out there is. At the end of the day, she has stood by him since day one and has not shied away in any way at all from embracing her father, even with the world turning against her, even with the smears from the left.
I have to respect that. Many other kids, like Mary Trump, have shown no loyalty to their family and have done everything they can to distance themselves. Ivanka always has President Trump's side and I don't think I can ever judge her for not being any more than that. And yet, she IS more than that.
I also suspect many of the stories about her and Kushner were not always necessarily true but more an attempt to drive a wedge between Trump and his daughter by the media. And while Bannon is coming back around, a lot of the gossiping and whispering in this regard came from him, who apparently did not get along well with Ivanka at all.
