Ok, so for their version of things to come about there would have been a new Constitutional amendment rescinding the 22nd amendment, through the processes laid out in the Constitution. All of those judges and Supreme Court justices? They aren't going to rubber stamp whatever Trump wants. Instead if he tried to do something unConstitutional they would be some of the loudest voices and most effective means of preventing it.
