Hadn't thought about it that way. Anyway I think the idea of reparations is unclear, because what is the comparison being used to indicate harm was caused to their descendants? Are we accepting the need for reparations because we assume blacks in Africa are better off; meaning blacks in the US would have been better off if their ancestors had been able to stay in Africa? Yet African blacks are not more economically advantaged than blacks in the US so reparations if any, if they are still felt necessary should be limited to the cost of a ticket back shouldn't they?
