The Maori are not tight Christian families; those are the other Polynesians. The Maori women are not pretty. Many Maori move from NZ to Australia to escape the Marae - that is the centre of the tribe whose seniors control there lives.... and hold them back to perpetuate the grievance industry. Those that move want to improve themselves and get out of the clutches of the Marae and see Australia as the only way to get ahead.
