...and the support for GEOTUS is amazing! Every year around this time, my beloved mother/absolute best friend and I would take a road trip to enjoy the leaves changing and the fall weather. With Mom's death last year, and even with my devastating loss, I'm still going to go each year in her wondrous memory. I always go up through north central Florida here up through the Panhandle, then all the way through Alabama, then southeast Tennessee and southwest North Carolina, then through all of north Georgia from east to west, then all the way down Georgia and back to central Florida. I logged over 1,700 miles, and it was Trump EVERYWHERE!! I MEAN, YUUUGE, CRAZY LOVE! There were some Biden signs in the mostly black Panhandle, naturally, and far too many big homes in the artsy, touristy Alabama town of Mentone (old liberals from up North), but everywhere else was Trumpmania.

Granted, they were red areas and I didn't go into liberal places like Asheville and Atlanta. But I came across hundreds of signs, banners, billboards (including bright electronic billboards), flags, t-shirts hats, and bumper stickers. Homes of all sizes with Trump supporters, even three-story mansions with four-car garages. I passed by two big Trump rallies on the side of the road, and a "TrumpFest" going on at a big field. Even coming home, I passed under an overpass in Gainesville, home to the far-left University of Florida, and there were a bunch of college boys (no young women, of course) pinning several Trump flags to the guardrail. Never in my 40 years of life have I seen anything even remotely close to this level of enthusiasm and support; no GOP presidential candidate combined in my lifetime has had this. It was wonderful to see.

It's been a sad and lonely journey through profound grief since she became ill exactly two years ago. Only child, useless father, no supportive family, and now my best friend for the past ten years has walked out of my life, through no fault of my own; just pretty much said, "meh, I don't need any of you anymore." So my world has become smaller and colder over the months as the light in my world has gone. I'll keep going as long as I can, though.

Read some scriptures. The Bible helps me through rough times. Not preaching, just giving my experience. Remember you have us here at TD. Stay strong.
