Everyone wants to paint him as the Gay Birther Muslim who committed Crimes from which he'll be nailed. But that's a distraction for the real backers that were essential to his rise, and still make sure nothing serious will ever happen to him. He played his part, just as he was supposed to.
I'd like to think that behind the scenes, there is more going on to take down the swamp than we know. Think of all the things we know Obama did, then think about all the things we don't know. There has already been multiple assassination attempts against Trump. These things don't just get forgotten. I'd imagine that Trump has been secretly dismantling deep state / foreign collusion assets with direct force, that Obama used, and that's why Obama is soo ruffled.
The best part is they can't publicly cry about it when Democrat deep state sleeper cells are wiped out, because they would have to admit their existence and their purpose. So they have to sit there quiet and angry, and the best they've got is to tell CNN to make an attack piece. All of the fake news is ultimately meant to erode Trump's power to wrench the presidency from him, to stop him from destroying the deep state.
I suspect that things like the Chinese embassy closings, were part of things that Obama didn't want to happen, because they were part of the deep state's power. Remember, these people aren't just selling America out to foreign countries....these foreign countries are actively working with them and providing logistical support. Just like how Obama got 5 eyes to spy on Trump.
And I'd have to imagine that at this point in the game, some of Obama's assets have gone "missing". Let's also think of ALL the people who got fired, that no one ever expected to get fired, because before Trump, high profile firings were rare. If someone managed to get into a position, they pretty much stayed there, regardless of their performance.
Obama clearly stacked the government with his own cronies. From Comey (FBI) to Sally Yates (DOJ) to Lois Lerner (IRS), and all the other lower level minions. And while not all of them have been cleaned out, massive changes have been made to thwart them. You've got Ratcliffe and Richard Grenel running national intelligence agencies now. And that directly relates to other tools being politically abused by Democrats and foreign powers.
All of this combined, leads to the dismantling of the swamp, and has hit them hard in some pretty big places. Notice how there's been very few terrorist attacks under Trump. ISIS is gone. We're getting out of wars. Ukrainian and Chinese corruption is being exposed. Iran was put in its place. Even Russia was put in its place under Trump, with literally hundreds of Russian soldiers killed when they tried to secretly attack a US base. They don't talk about it much. Remember when Trump sent missiles at Syria and Russia said it wouldn't allow it and would attack back at every location a missile is fired from.....then Russia did absolutely nothing. Technically they didn't do absolutely nothing, they did try to stop the missiles, but they were foiled. Then they quietly shut up about the whole thing....then two weeks later, Putin comes on TV, visibly angry, talking about how Russia is developing a nuclear powered nuke. These two things are not unrelated.
Needless to say, things have happened over the last 4 years that have snowballed into a big effect. And Obama is deathly afraid of 4 more years of Trump, because Obama knows that by the end of those 4 years, every last bit of everything Obama set in place will be destroyed. Obama doesn't care about his legacy. What he does care about is the system he built that allows him to effectively act as a secret president of a hidden government. And that's really what it's all about. Obama didn't see 2016 as his last term. Obama expected to functionally be president for the rest of his life. Obama hasn't just been going on vacations and relaxing pool side since 2016. He's been basically sitting in his own homemade remote oval office.
You guys fantasize too much. He's not going anywhere, except to collect more money, and enjoy Secret Service Protection for the rest of his life.
