It is not the night they tell him "they found out" that scares them. I spend a lot of time around lawyers, it is never what they known, and the public has known for a long time now.

It's the day that they can prove it, where the real panic sets in.

That’s where all those bureaucratic resistance hacks come in. hiding evidence, delaying FOIA requests, shredding documents, wiping phones, falling on the sword if need be. (The ol’ it was a rogue intern with no bias).
