I desperately want to agree with you but I'm in the position of having to hire people. We hired straight on "diversity."
My personal experience is that the MAJORITY of our team:
1.) Graduated high school through diversity programs.
2.) Got college acceptance through diversity programs.
3.) Graduated with degrees through diversity programs.
4.) Were hired through diversity programs.
5.) Can't speak basic fucking English, Can't program, Can't do their fucking jobs, but at least we have a lot of them! Through diversity programs.
And oh yeah, this is a government contract for a 3 letter agency that our tax dollars are paying for. So enjoy that, plebes! We're all paying out the ass for under qualified folks for the sake of "diversity".
But don't worry. We should also make sure the government is in charge of health care.

Arbitrarily imposing restrictions on certain classes of people or giving benefits to others to try to impose equality and justice merely makes the outcome look more virtuous, while in reality, being the least equitable and most unjust system. It is in fact racist. It is in fact sexist.

I was waiting for a ride once late in the evening and some white dude was walking in my direction. From what I could see from the corner of my eye, I already didn't trust him. Sagging pants, large baggy shirt, suspicious gait. Sure enough when he passed by me and the other person I was waiting with, he spat on us and tried instigating us but luckily there were cops a few hundred feet away. Unfortunately one racial demographic might be overrepresented among people like that, but I wouldn't pay any mind to a clean cut black guy in a business suit walking towards me because I don't perceive that as a threat. I'm not going to be suspicious in that situation just because he's black.
I wish that was true. But every time I'm asked for my race when applying for something (like college, etc) I know I'm probably being judged by my race.

Not one of the thousands of people in attendance hassled him or gave him grief. Respected his right to free speech. Wish I had a video, something the left could learn from.

I realized this after I met a black guy named billy and another named John who were both conservatives and was amazed how quickly any acknowledgement of color faded from my characterization of them.
