Indictments? That would clearly be in the purvey of Presidential intel. For instance, the FBI (yeah, right) or state police might want the White House to be aware of something going down. Probably not Joe's indictment, tho, but a Hunter indictment would allow the Feds to retain some shred of credibility and put a lock under any more Fed speculation -- "We can't comment on an active investigation"...
