They have chosen a lot of venues that are on the borders of states, meaning they get fans and "swing voters" from not just one state but multiple states with just one visit.
That was a big thing for me too in the primaries. He came to my city in a blue state. Nobody else had campaigned before or since. It showed he cared about the forgotten Americans.
