Is this the page that says that the covid test can detect other antibodies as well?
This is not a big deal because it's not the only test that is being done.
In a time of crisis (whether you agree to the term or not), a solution is needed to test a huge amount of people. It is most likely that the test was picked as the most practical solution because if you show negative, time, money and resources will be saved from running a very specific test. If it's positive, you run an additional test to see if it's the correct virus.
The important thing to understand that when you need to perform a large quantity of such tests, you can't have a procedure that only a handful of laboratories around the world would be able to perform, or something that requires extensive training for personnel to perform. You need it now, cheap, and readily available.
General Patton's quote on a good plan comes to mind:
“A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week.”
Please fix the link.
It’s a screenshot. You can go to the cdc page and find it if you want.
When you click the link you get an xml file not found. I'm trying to say that the screenshot does not display.
Try Uploading the photo here rather than wherever u are hosting it.
So, what's it say?
