I don't think he should've done those things, and I think he only did because it's an election year and felt he had no choice. (He may have been right about that tbh.)
Cause it's based on lies. Maybe POTUS did believe them at first, which would explain it. Over time though, it's become clear how completely wrong and unreliable the health officials have been with all of their assertions, predictions, and recommendations. They stopped operating on science a long time ago, if they ever truly were. Now everything they say is politics. They even have the audacity to say that covid "killed" the flu and that's why there's no flu right now. (lol) It's all unscientific nonsense designed to stir hysteria and fear fora as long as possible.
He has been pushing back against the masks since the day he got out of Walter Reed. He ripped that thing off and stuffed it in his pocked and you never see him wearing it anymore. He's been arguing it with the media about how the "experts" have contradicted themselves, that the CDC study showed 85% of people who wore them still caught it and how cases still remain the same in states that are heavily locked down and have mask mandates. I'm hoping for even more after the election.
It's a bad flu seasons with higher effect on the elderly. If you are vulnerable and want to protect yourself, go ahead. But let those who want to live, do so.
