Our work force is not in the age range of appreciable health risk (99.9% survivability). Shutting down our working economy is a political stunt, not a justified health move. I believe it is the time of personal responsibility. If you have a health risk, feel afraid or have close contact to elderly folks, wear a mask and social distance or just stay home. Do not impose your fears on my freedom.
Been saying this since the beginning. Everything can be delivered to your door step. I was even on board with the 'at risk shopping only hours'. Imagine if instead of shutting down all of the businesses, the massive give away & PPP - you could keep everything open, use a fraction of the stimulus and PPP and keep the country functioning normally. I understand we didn't have all the facts together at first, but surely we had the data before the first stimulus and PPP was signed. Ridiculous to think everything could be 'normal' for a majority of the country

COVID is not the most dangerous thing they face.
On the long list of things that will kill them, COVID doesn't even make an appearance.
How many people died with the only morbidity being COVID?
Don't say 6%. 6% is the number who died with 1 or fewer co-morbidities.
They don't dare publish the number of no co-morbidities.
Because that is zero.
Still, we don't shut down the roads because of 2 traffic deaths a year on that stretch (making the case that even if the number is >0)
