I'm dying just imagining the string of events that must have lead up to this happening.
My favorite scenario so far is that this is some The Office style prank where they told this lady they were all going to dress up, but no one else did, and they rushed her onto the set as soon as she got there.
Apparently (I have no solid source and don't care enough to look) it is local news and they were announcing Halloween safety that included Covid statistics. Other news people were dressed up as well.
Not well thought out but also not malicious? Again I don't care enough to think it through...
She needs to do a honk honk after announcing the COVID cases and deaths. Maybe a Krusty-esque laugh.
