Do they mean they are up vs the 2016 totals and the trend indicates they will be up (?), because right now the Dems lead.
However, the good news is that Dems requested more early ballots, and Republicans tend to be election day voters. The other good news is that Reublicans are closing the gap on early voting. Two days ago when I checked, the combined mail-in + early voting had the Dems up by 300k. Now it's down to 200k.
Also, there have been 1.3M early votes from Independents, and I'd like to think that those will break Trump's way.
Yeah I’m a Broward pede and I’m curious what they meant as well. I’ve seen a surprising amount of MAGA support around here, but there are so many Dems that winning the county outright is a tough prospect.
Still, a strong MAGA turnout in the deep-blue southeast could really help us push a Trump win over the line in Florida. Make sure to VOTE!
