We really need North Carolina. And so far, there has been no activity at all from the Trump campaign or from any GOP people here. There are Biden signs everywhere and everyone is proudly talking about voting for Biden. I have not received any texts or calls from the GOP or from any Trump volunteers.

Meanwhile the Biden people have been showing up daily twice or thrice in the past few days telling people to go vote for Biden. They also text me 20 times a day minimum and tell me to go vote for Biden. Everyone here who's talking about the elections is voting for that guy.

So please, anyone in North Carolina, please get out and go vote for Trump!

The state is split, and my half is solid freaking Trump. I know about 3 people that are Biden voters.

We’ve got still got a lot of work to do, for sure, though, so go vote Tar Heel pedes! And yes, I’ve voted already.

Do you live in NC? This is not a black pill. This is a call to tell anyone who lives in North Carolina to get out and vote. There's no harm in telling people that things are not looking great and the only way to make things better is for them to vote. I'm not making any predictions about the future. I'm only saying what has happened here. If you live in NC and you know more, then you can say why this is wrong. But otherwise, it's my job to tell North Carolinians that they have to vote or else we're going to lose the state because the Biden people are out in full force.

We may be winning big but it's always good to be safe! Get out the vote and humiliate the Democrats! Don't be satisfied with a close win!

If your area is infested by Biden signs and they're constantly knocking on your door, then they are completely fucked. Parties that heavily use resources on slam dunk districts are wasting resources.

Never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake.

This guy! It's almost like what you said should be common sense.

I live in Jacksonville NC, Trump signs everywhere. Encouraging people to vote is great..... but causing panic or despair is not. This election is critical. Your text reminds me of depression polls. NBC poll Biden is ahead by 13%. Well, no sense voting or donating to Trump.. Soooo, what I am saying, we all need to vote but please stop the pearl clutching and hand wringing because that is not helpful.

Trump signs in and around Raleigh don't last very long, except the ones that are placed 20 feet up a telephone pole or hanging from trees. My inlaws bought additional locks for their doors b/c their displaying a large trump flag off their porch.

I've been wearing my MAGA hat all around the research triangle for the last 4 years. I ve always gotten alot of approving comments on it, but more often than not its followed by how they could never wear one out of fear for their safety or job.

I did see a man assaulted over his MAGA hat last week in downtown. Two crazy ladies were being detained by the police as he was on his phone. I also saw a young teen blowing her horn and freaking out when a truck passed with a Trump flag. I had the pleasure of passing her afterward only to hear her yelling. Made a point to pull up next to the truck, show him my hat and a thumbs up.

My parents have been life long Dems, and voted for Trump this time. My dad has actually started to be fairly vocal about it recently on FB.

NC will be close. I think there's alot of undercover support. I know there's alot of social pressure to vote for Biden in the cities. My mother in law has had to put several people in their place when they assumed she was voting for biden.

My mom's a Democrat and neither of us voted for Trump in 2016. I was deceived by the never trumpers at that point! She's from Michigan, I'm unfortunately not in a swing state, but both of us are very excited to be voting Trump this year! My aunt called my mom and harassed her for voting Trump, but my mom stood firm. But I think many people are like your parents and my mom and have realized how CRAZY the democrats have become. Even people I know that hate Trump have voted for him after they've seen people being harassed by Democrats

Raleigh used to be considered a moderate Republican area :/ In just four to six years, the liberals have succeeded in making it fully blue. My neighbor is voting for Biden despite being a gun owner and being very concerned about crime. We really have to vote.

What made your parents switch from Dems to Trump?

I am shocked to hear that you got approving comments for your MAGA hat. It's also very good to hear though because that's a great sign that NC is still not as blue as Dems want it to be.

Can confirm visited Raleigh a couple months ago and all I saw was hundreds of BLM signs. I live a couple hours away and it’s solid trump country. My wife and I already put our two votes for the most non racist president we’ve ever had, maybe Abraham Lincoln, maybe not.

tw0scoops 7 points ago +7 / -0

Most of the time if I see an American flag I assume its a Trump voter. About the best I can hope for around Raleigh.

Saw one house with a trump sign in the middle of Durham. That one made me smile.

Have you kindly told the Biden campaign where to go?

10
dudetteabides [S] 10 points ago +15 / -5

I cannot. These people are all locals and they all know each other and they all talk a lot. Many of them are friends with Antifa and BLM people. I don't want my home to be targeted by thugs and vandals and for my mail to disappear etc. I stick out like a sore thumb as it is. A lot of times, people who live in safe conservative areas don't understand how dangerous it is to say anything when you live in areas that are not fully conservative.

7
INSSABOFA 7 points ago +7 / -0

Thats no fun

dudetteabides [S] 15 points ago +17 / -2

It's terrible here. These people are just evil. They will destroy you no matter how harmless you are if they get even the slightest hint that you are not a liberal.

I will just say it is somewhere similar and leave it at that so I do not doxx myself. And sadly, I always had the impression that even though Cary is extremely liberal, at least the people there were chill. Is that wrong?

I'm really hoping you're not LARPing because all the medical professionals that I know in NC are very liberal and they will try to find ways to hurt you if they find out you're a Trump voter. Basically many doctors and nurses all over this area will pretty much hint that they are liberals right away when you meet them.

tw0scoops 4 points ago +4 / -0

Cary is probably on the bit older side than Raleigh, particularly downtown. Its primarily suburbia, and probably has a healthy mix of both.

Raleigh proper has seen a very rapid amount of downtown development and gentrification. Lots of small homes being bulldozed on the eastern side of the city and being replaced with $700-$800k new homes, which are not even that large, typically around 2k sqft. Complete renovations of the smaller homes instead of tear downs are still $400-$600. Larger custom homes are $1,000,000. Western side of the city has alot of new high end townhomes, I've walked thru a few that are 1.5 to 2 million dollars. This might not sound like alot for anyone living in other major urban areas, but its fairly new prices for Raleigh. Appears to me thru work that alot of these home purchases have been new to town. I know I have no interest at all to living downtown.

Then you look at Biden's plan to urbanize the suburbs nationally. And its not just Biden. The left wing city council in Raleigh have already been in talks for the last year (?) to do away with single family residential within the city. They say its to meet demand for people wanting to move to the city that are currently renting in adjacent towns due to lack of housing in Raleigh.

Out here in the shoot-burglars-in-the-fucking-face part of NC, we are overwhelmingly red - and when I voted, Republicans were just outside the lines handing out literature. Three Trump flags were flying, it was clear what we were all there for. The problem is cities in NC, and what can be done about them? Nothing, I promise.

1
Tip-O-Matic 1 point ago +1 / -0

I 100% concur. I live in a small town in NC, and just about the only place I see Biden signs are the neighboring cities Greensboro and High Point. There are a couple here and there near me, but they're easily outnumbered by Trump signs, at least 10 to 1.

My wife and I are building a home further out in the county, so by springtime, we'll officially be part of the "we don't call 911" crowd.

As far as cities in general - let the rioters/looters/joggers burn them all down.

Don’t forget about the BS no voter ID in NC and the surpreme court just rejected NC Republicans argument to shorten the window to collect ballots after 11/3.

Wonder if OP lives in the heart of shithole Asheville.

4
tw0scoops 4 points ago +4 / -0

LOL

I went to Asheville for a bachelor party last year. And I wore my hat for the whole weekend except when we went drinking downtown one night. Most of the guys didnt want to start shit with any crazies as alot of them worked for major corps and would risk their job.

I definitely noticed some black bloc types in and around downtown.

This doesn't sound right...I'll I've heard is that Trump people have been on the ground for months in swing states. Plus, the Donald has been in must win states non-stop the last couple months.

Appreciate the heads-up but I assume you are in a big time Dem area.

Go vote!

tw0scoops 6 points ago +6 / -0

Been awhile since Trump was in the Research Triangle. He's been in more Red areas several times, Greensboro, Fayettenam, etc.

Pence was about an hour south in Selma last week. My brother in law thought he saw his entourage going down the highway from RDU.

I'd like to attend one in my area, I can't do a midday or afternoon one out of town when I have to a pretty set schedule with child care. If he's in Raleigh/Durham I could probably arrange it.

4
monochromedout 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm really hopeful that once we win he goes on another thank you tour. Things should be a little less turbulent next spring and I think he loves these rallies more than any part of the job.

Don't give up hope on seeing him. Last time he travelled the country, mainly in swing states, thanking the voters.

Live in NC. I get a fair about of GOP texts and the only person to visit my house was republican.

4
tw0scoops 4 points ago +4 / -0

I've had one person come by my house so far. I didnt ask who she was with, all she did was ask if I had voted or planned on voting. I told her I was going to vote day of. But now I keep checking the secretary of state website to see if someone votes for me beforehand.

Come on Pamlico County: go Trump! 🇺🇸 You too, Elizabeth Town! 🇺🇸

6
TheZappaz 6 points ago +6 / -0

I'm going to guess you live in say... Cary?

Most of the urban places are pretty far blue but the rest of the state is still solid red. Its going to be close but I think as long as we make sure to vote that NC will be red in the end. I think Cooper's handling of the lockdowns has hurt the Dems overall.

I live in a small town north/central NC and have had 2 door knockers which were from a GOP group. The 2nd time I told them to use their phone to check the wifi networks in the area. Her eyes lit up when she saw "Trump 2020" listed and I told her that's been my wifi name for at least 3 years now.

Have faith friend, we may not be as vocal as the other side but we are out there in masses and our voices will be heard November 3rd.

Friends in NC (Raleigh, Charlotte) receive Biden texts. Lots of Biden signs and few Trump signs in the city, but drive outside of city limits, and its Trump country. Th4y think the state will go for Trump because of the ‘shy voter’ who doesn’t want ANTIFA bullshit in their cities.

3
JoePCool14 3 points ago +3 / -0

The Dems are out there because they're fighting to get NC. If Trump was more worried about NC, he would be swinging down there for more rallies.

Wisconsin is really the tipper state. Trump's scheduled to come up to Green Bay again—his 3rd or 4th rally in this state in the past few weeks.

It’s gonna be a nail biter all the way through. Good luck in NC. I’m in Cuckfornia... all the people I know in NC are voting Trump. Let’s see what happens!

If you live in WNC it is liberal af in the cities but once you get out in apple country it's trump town everywhere. Need every vote though

NC here. I live and work in the triangle and I will vouch at the amount of Biden support I’ve witnessed. It’s surprising to me honestly and I worry we are in for a disappointment. I hope rural NC can carry us to victory. Please vote as this will be too close

2
prospektor 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'd like to add: not only vote yourself, but also encourage likeminded people to vote, give rides, if possible/necessary, and maybe even ask your local GOP what you can do to help getting the vote out. The left has a powerful machine in that regard, and they will be out in way more force than 2016, when they and their shadow donors were complacent and thought they had it in the bag. We can not make the same mistake.

2
Sapphire2Sea 2 points ago +2 / -0

Who is "everyone" that's talking about Biden. Outside of Charlotte and Raleigh, most of NC is going red. But by all means, go out and vote Trump. Never can have too many votes for our POTUS

1

Mom and Dad voted and my siblings are driving up from school to vote in person. They are so lucky and very proud to get to vote for our President as their first.

Go door knock if you are concerned.

Really curious where the hell in NC you live.. I'm not in a rural area and the Biden signs are almost non existent. There are daily Trump flag wavings at major intersections in town that have been going on for months.
