As a Floridian, I am happy to say that I have seen far, far more signs, flags, bumper stickers, etc., in support of President Trump than in 2016 by a large number. Also, a vast number of people, at least for where I'm at, are now openly supporting him versus in 2016 where if you did support him, you kind of kept it quiet. I work in corrections, and I have hundreds of co-workers at my location alone, and minus maybe 10 to 15 of them, I don't know a single one who is not voting for GEOTUS.
On the other hand, it is disheartening to see things in support of Trump get defaced. For any Floridian in the area of Clermont (right outside of Orlando) in Lake County, on highway 27, there is a huge gorilla on the side of the road that is from the waist up that stands at least 15 feet tall if not taller), and it's holding a Trump flag and wearing a MAGA hat, and right next to is is a Trump/Pence sign. Within the past couple of weeks, someone has defaced it. The sign has graffiti on it, and the MAGA hat has vanished. I know that I am rambling, but it hurt to see it as given its location, it would have required someone to park fairly far away in order to walk to it as it's on the side of a highway with no real parking that's "right there." I still look forward to driving by it, but to see what has happened to this, what I consider to be, a landmark, is upsetting.
Still, to ALL Floridians, and I know countless here have already said it: VOTE. If you know someone who would vote for Trump but is kind of lazy, then go out with him/her and ensure they vote. Take them out to eat or get them a drink if you have to. We need even more than a wave, we need a tsunami!
