If they took the package totally it would have tightened up the time it disappeared from the tracking.
With that they would have a narrower time to review security tapes, who to interview etc.
The packet still tracking opens it up to broader times, locations, and handlers. More difficult to find on cameras etc.

This raises serious questions as to how they knew the package would be shipped when it was. Are they monitoring Tucker's activities, or is there a mole at Fox?
Ahh...and here's my 'hunch'. Tucker's producer tipped them off---and the producer is Jewish. Just a hunch.

Read the article - DHS and FBI have access to all package and tracking information thanks to good ol' GWB and the "Patriot" Act. They were spying on Bobulinski, and thus Team Tucker by extension, which is how they were able to hunt the package down and steal the contents in-transit.
They mustve had wiretaps and someone staking out 24/7.
NSA records/hears everything thanks to the Patriot Act. Part of the early scandal of spying on POTUS well prior to the election were the journalists they have been spying on. One of which was Tucker Carlson. They have been surveilling him for YEARS. IMHO this was a trap to figure out who was listening in. Tucker is not stupid and I can’t imagine he would ever send originals or even real docs. The surveilling agents had the tracking number the moment it was acquired.

Not if they used Fedex or UPS. The Feds would have (or at least should have) needed a warrant to open a USPS package.
I used to work at Fedex. They know exactly who comes in and out of those facilities. They dont play with that shit because meddling with mail is a federal crime. One of these facilities must have had FEDS come in and they know about it. Maybe they were told to play dumb
Its not a federal crime to mess with a Fedex package. Only USPS.
This is why the darknet weed dudes ship with USPS and never private carriers. Bored postal worker smells weed? Gotta go up the line to the postal inspector and there aren't many of them. Fedex dude smells weed? Slice that puppy open.
They would have been tipped off by someone inside the company or that works around Tucker as well to know what they are mailing.

Trump has all the data on where the mail-in ballots came from. Where they went. What they looked like. Whose name was on them.
They can figure out that if 15,000 ballots came from Trump zip codes but only 5,000 were reported to have arrived at the central precinct well they know whose asses to probe with the working end of an M4 after a 4am raid.
