It’s a pet peeve, but language matters. Never call a lefty a liberal. There are positive connotations to the word liberal, none of which defines your modern lefty. A true liberal can be a wonderful thing, but we are talking classic, and when you talk about a lefty and call them a liberal, you are gilding a big, moist mound of stench. Always refer to them by their true nature, don’t elevate. Keep the dialog honest. They are not liberals.
