First off guys this isn't meant to be a concern troll. It's more of an inquiry into how statements saying that because the right is making a better showing with early voting that we're in really good shape. Am I wrong in thinking based on what I've heard before, that conservatives typically vote on election day unless they are unable to(then they use absentee ballots)? Reason I ask is that I know from my own social groups that most of us are voting early. Going to the courthouse and casting our ballots this week because of concerns of election day fuckery from the left. And I can't imagine that there aren't others like us thinking and doing the same. So if someone could ELI5 how we're not just seeing our voter counts front loaded so to speak I'd appreciate it.

TLDR: Just vote, take a couple of friends. Do not relax, do not sleep in.
My closest group of friends are all onboard the Trump train and either have already early voted or are going on election day.
I've seen the complete opposite.... no one wanting to vote early on our side.
Yeah this is my first time early voting. And I'm not thrilled to do it like this but like I said I just want to make sure my vote gets in before some perfectly timed fake crisis comes up.
No joke, I was honestly going to post something very similar. I’m too concerned; I have heard (may be incorrect) that overall there are more left leaning people in the US but their turnout is poor. This whole window of early voting gives all those people ample time to get out. The same people who vote on Election Day in person are probably mostly republicans, and I’m nervous that won’t be enough to overcome all the dems that found time to get off their lazy asses over the past few weeks to go vote for their shit candidate that matches their shit beliefs.
There are not more left leaning American citizens in the US.
I've heard the same thing. But who knows. There's so much misinformation floating around now it's hard to know for sure. I guess that's why I was reaching out here like I did. Looking for other perspectives. Thanks man.
