I've never actually met another lady conservative in my entire life living in Canada - either that or we all feel we have to hide our views for fear of being ostracized and losing all our friends. How’s it going?
I have one girlfriend who is conservative (my BFF), other than that, my mom! All my other friends who know I’m conservative are guys. I pretty much never bring up politics with the rest of my girlfriends because they’re default Democrats and totally brainwashed by fake news. It’s hard being a conservative woman in Commiefornia!
CA here, well, 3 of those left looneys gals are in my family, 2 sisters and a niece, but we red voters outnumber them . . . my family and my other sisters family have been on the Trump Train since 2015 and that was the last time we were all together for the holidays . . . my BIL is an insufferable bore who still owes me $100.00 for 'impeachment' . . . my lil' sis said he'll never pay me and that has strained some things
Default democrats are the worse type, they're the ones empowering the radicals
Feel ya! What gets me most is how my friends just assume of course I'm liberal, if I wasn't I'd be an evil racist of course, and just bash all this brainwashed nonsense in my face and I have to pretend I don't know anything about it when I really could talk them to the ground on politics if I wanted to. But then I'd have no friends and be a loner, and being Canadian I'm not changing anyone's vote or anything so just gotta suck it up
Ahhh yes! That’s exactly what I do too. It’s infuriating how they just assume I agree with them on everything. Most of my friends would be shocked to know the sheer amount of research I’ve done and what I know haha. I just kind of nod and smile and change the subject when politics comes up just to keep the peace 🤷🏼♀️ Well, at least we are not alone in feeling this way and we have td.win!
