IT’S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN TO ELECTION DAY, PEDES!

There are only 6 DAYS LEFT until the day we have all been looking forward to for many many moons now….

So what can you do?

  • GET OUT AND VOTE! (This should be obvious...)
  • Bring others with you to vote. Bonus points if they are first time voters or voted Dem last election. The more the merrier!
  • Volunteer to be a poll watcher. Only you can prevent wildfires voter fraud.

Congratulations, ACB!

Our brand new Supreme Court justice, Amy Coney Barrett, was confirmed and sworn in this past Monday. And oh, how the salt did flow…and flow.

Ladies, I am in a swing state, and I cannot decide whether to vote early or go on Election Day. I want to go on Election Day, but sometimes I get concerned that there could be violence or some other problems. What are you all doing?

It really depends on your local and your individual circumstances:

For instance go on election day is easier if:

  • you have lots of polling places (eg elementary schools) but if like in places with few polls, loooong lines.

  • if using all paper ballots, go election day np; if only electronic or print-on-demand, and if there's a "problem" on election day, looooong lines.

  • If you live in a very safe community, np going on election day; if live in a very unsafe community, might want to early.

  • If you can physically wait in line for hours, going election day not so bad, but if you cant (for health or busy life/family/work reasons) than might go early.

  • Also varies by the "rules" on if you've had a ballot mailed to you yet, which might be easier; including election day drop offs at the polls (if allowed, some states wont allow DUMB, etc.)

Also your community makeup; so if you say have lots of people like seniors who come out election day, well maybe you want to too, or maybe you want to save them some time in line by going early. Some places always have lines, others never have lines.

Going Election Day is generally best for lowering the risks of shenaigans of ballots.

One more advantage to voting early, is it means on Election Day you're free to help call, drive, etc. to get others to the polls, or pollwatch another location.

Can you vote just one day early? The concern of voting too early is that if you're in a precinct dominated by Dems, then fraud is a lot easier if they know the votes they need to counteract.

Back when my state still allowed in person voting, I always voted on the way to work election day. Usually the lines were next to nothing at that time of day. I think the long lines really hit people around lunch time and later.

I think the last day for voting early is Oct. 30 or 31. I’ll consider that.
