I had a post it on my door from the USPS that said an international package was now at my local PO branch after 3 attempted deliveries. This was the only attempt that had been made. So I went to my local PO and there was no package. They took my info and said they would ask the mail carrier where it was when he came back at the end of his shift. Long story short, the package disappeared. The mail carrier lied about how many attempts he made. The PO can go suck it.
My pre-workout I ordered and had shipped Ups at extra cost was in Texas on Sunday (I live in Texas) and now is in North Carolina. I think all these delivery people are having massive TDS attacks because the election is so near.
Sorry for your loss, there's nothing like the feeling of slapping a new upper on your favorite lower and shuffling through your optics drawer finding that perfect fit, hopefully soon you'll get your build completed
Hmm, that's possible. I print two sticky labels and tape them (except the barcode), and put a third in the box on top as well. I worked for a private carrier before so I've seen things. Most (but not all) of our damaged packages were just completely awful packing by the shipper.
I posted here a while back a FFL told me was seeing a larger amount of packages disappear (stolen) from USPS and Fedex, he only recommended UPS, it cost me $75 to ship a “firearm” 2nd day UPS.
I just shipped a different one UPS today and will do try one USPS on Friday.
Goodness I hate that form letter shit. Then a few weeks later another automated "welp we didn't find anything you're SOL, maybe try labelling things" email. Your post brought back my USPSPTSD.
USPS was terrible at first when i moved here. Lost my replacement dishwasher rack, I’d get my neighbors mail and vise versa. After about three months, I haven’t had any issues,

I was restoring a classic motorcycle and was buying parts all over the World as I found them. I have no idea what was stolen or how much it was worth.
I would think a tractor part would be cast iron and strapped to a pallet and delivered with a forklift
Yeah definitely for the big parts that would be the case
This is why I installed cctv that records for 21 days
what do you mean they tried to swipe yours?
BCM huh? It's sort of jacked up they can't send out their products in just a plain box. Does the world really need to know what is inside the package?
Same with ammo. Gotta ask for discrete overpacking to ensure it gets delivered.
Well sonofabitch.

Can’t have all those military grade weapons floating around Denver in the hands of Patriots now, can we?
Sorry to hear

New uppers go on new lowers. Old uppers on old lowers. Don't mix 'em up, cuz that's just wrong
Nothing wrong with having more uppers than lowers
That sounds like a downer.
Sorry for your loss, op. Definitely funky, but I wonder if the guy did a crap job of packing it, so it got damaged and they don't want to admit that.
I shipped my BiL an upper last month, 2 day shipping arrived in 1 day without issue. Texas to People's Republic of Maryland.
I've got two handguns in the mail right now heading to my FFL. Thoughts and prayers, please.

....neat. FBI just needs to get a few more components for the false flag that gets these things banned.
I won’t trust shipping parts/guns beyond receipt scheduled on Tuesday. I think first thing they shut down are hiways.

Insurance?
Start a claim. and then hope part comes in later get money and part order another upper....
I'm sorry for your loss.

Lesson to learn: don’t live in Denver and expect Denver USPS workers to be politically unbiased.
